Regular Season Round 4: Mataro Parc - Badalones 63-76

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both top-ranked Badalones and one of their biggest challengers Mataro Parc had identical 0-0 record. But Mataro Parc was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Badalones 76-63 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in Group C5. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Aleix Haro-Val (188-1) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds and center Antonio Ruiz (202-87) who added 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward David Romero (191-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Oscar Heras (181-99) scored 17 points. Four Mataro Parc players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Badalones maintains first position in Group C5 with 1-0 record, which they share with Sol Girones. Loser Mataro Parc still closes the standings with one game lost. Badalones will face Zaragoza (#5) at home in the next round. Mataro Parc will play against the league's second-placed Sol Girones in La Bisbal and hopes to get finally their first victory.
