Regular Season Round 7: Rybnik - Bielsko-Biala 81-86

Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Rybnik (0-7) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Bielsko-Biala (4-2) 86-81 on Saturday. Bielsko-Biala shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Rybnik was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for point guard Wojciech Zub (181-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Forward Robert Kozaczka (198-81) helped adding 25 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side center Tomasz Czajkowski (203-82) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds and forward Adam Bialdyga (197-87) scored 20 points and 4 assists. Rybnik's coach Lukasz Szymik tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Bielsko-Biala. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Rybnik lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Bielsko-Biala will face Tarn.Gory (#4) in Tarnowskie Gory in the next round. Rybnik will play on the road against AZS AWF Mick. (#5) in Katowice and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
