Storm dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Condores' 36. The winners were led by international power forward Luis Almanza (196-91) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and Dominican forward Jose Familia (201-98) supported him with 20 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import center Malik Wineglass (203-0, college: Harris-Stowe St.) added 20 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Condores' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Storm maintains seventh position with 4-8 record. Condores at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the fifth place with seven games lost. Storm will meet at home higher ranked Trigrillos (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Condores will play against Sabios and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
