Regular Season Round 8: Rapla - Tarvas 76-84

We should mention about the upset which took place in Rapla, where higher ranked Rapla (5-3) lost at home to eleventh ranked Tarvas (2-4) 76-84 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Rapla. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Devin Harris (182-92, college: OKWU) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 6 assists and the other American import forward Riley Hayes (203-98, college: Catholic) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Tarvas players scored in double figures. International Saimon Sutt (200-95) responded with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American-Nigerian Al-Wajid Aminu (201-98, college: N.Florida) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Tarvas moved-up to ninth place, which they share with VIA. Loser Rapla keeps the fourth position with three games lost. Tarvas will meet at home higher ranked TalTech (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rapla will play against Kalev/Cramo (#5) in Tallinn and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
