Rather predictable result when leader Ferrol (5-0) smashed at home 5th ranked Barakaldo (2-2) 76-46 on Saturday. American center Jenna Allen (190-97, college: Michigan St., agency: LBM Management) stepped up and scored 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Finnish power forward Maria Aijanen (187-95) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds. American swingman Alexis Lewis (178-96, college: Seton Hall) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and guard Laura Chahrour (172-95) scored 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ferrol have an impressive series of five victories in a row.
