Very important is a road loss of second ranked Rizing (6-4) against eighth ranked Kagawa FA (2-8) on Saturday night. Visiting Rizing was defeated by Kagawa FA in Takamatsu 98-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rizing. Kagawa FA made 31-of-34 free shots (91.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Rizing turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Rizing was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) fired 30 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners (made all of his fourteen free throws !!!). Australian forward Rhys Vague (206-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Kagawa FA players scored in double figures. American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: FAU) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and forward Jumpei Honda (190-88) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Rizing's coach let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kagawa FA moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Rizing keeps the second position with four games lost. Kagawa FA will face again higher ranked Rizing (#4) in Fukuoka in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
