The game in Zadar supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Gorica (5-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Borik Puntamika (4-4). Gorica smashed Borik Puntamika 90-69 on Sunday. Gorica looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Marko Bakovic (205-93) stepped up and scored 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and international center Kresimir Ljubicic (210-98) chipped in 20 points. The best for the losing side was Tomislav Cvitkovic (206-98, agency: XL Basketball Agency) with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Lovre Runjic (193-0) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gorica moved-up to third place. Borik Puntamika lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with four games lost. Gorica will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Borik Puntamika will play against Alkar (#10) in Sinj and hope to secure a win.
