Regular Season Round 9: WKK Wroclaw - Lowicz 96-79

The game in Wroclaw was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Lowicz (5-4) played at the court of sixth ranked WKK Wroclaw (5-1). WKK Wroclaw did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 96-79 on Wednesday. WKK Wroclaw looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when WKK Wroclaw made 8 blocks. It was a good game for forward Jakub Patoka (200-94) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. WKK Wroclaw have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Lowicz dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. WKK Wroclaw will face Lancut (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Lowicz will play against the league's leader Czarni and hope to win that game.
