Regular Season Round 7: AZS AGH KR - MKS DG 2 106-60

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked AZS AGH KR as it allowed them to take a leadership position. AZS AGH KR smashed 7th ranked MKS DG 2 in Krakow 106-60. AZS AGH KR forced 26 MKS DG 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by MKS DG 2's players. It was a great evening for Bartosz Wrobel (190-95, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 5 rebounds. Pawel Zmarlak (195-82, agency: Promotex) helped adding 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side power forward Przemyslaw Paduch (201-3) responded with 10 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Pawel Jurczynski (183-91) scored 8 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AZS AGH KR (6-0) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Rydzyna and Polonia Bytom. MKS DG 2 at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Tarnovia and Ogniwo Szcz.. MKS DG 2 will play next round against AZS PS Gliwice trying to get back on the winning streak. AZS AGH KR will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked AZS PWSTE in Jaroslaw.
