Regular Season Round 9: Wisla Krakow - Lancut 77-94

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Lancut (3-3) beat on the road 13th ranked Wisla Krakow (2-6) 94-77 on Wednesday. Lancut looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for Michal Jankowski (191-87, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 17 points. Swingman Filip Malgorzaciak (192-93) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Five Lancut players scored in double figures. Michal Chrabota (196-99) answered with 22 points and power forward Jakub Zaczek (204-96) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Wisla Krakow. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Lancut maintains ninth place with 3-3 record. Newly promoted Wisla Krakow dropped to the fourteenth position with six games lost. Lancut will face higher ranked WKK Wroclaw (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wisla Krakow will play against the league's second-placed Tychy (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
