Very important is a home loss of third ranked Toyama G. (10-3) against seventh ranked Hitachi Sunrockers (7-6) on Wednesday night. Host Toyama G. was defeated by Hitachi Sunrockers in a tough game in Toyama 97-106. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Toyama G.. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Hitachi Sunrockers. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Shimane SM. Toyama G. at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. Hitachi Sunrockers' next round opponent will be higher ranked Diamond Dolphins (#3) in Nagoya and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Toyama G. will play on the road against Toshiba Thunders in Kanagawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
