Zadar forced 19 Split turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Split helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Alti Sport) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 rebounds. The former international power forward Domagoj Vukovic (206-93) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Zadar players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Ilija Djokovic (191-96) replied with 13 points and 5 assists and the former international center Antonio Vrankovic (213-96, college: Duke) added 11 points in the effort for Split. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zadar (8-1) have an impressive six-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Cibona. Split at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. Split will play next round against strong Cibona trying to get back on the winning streak. Zadar will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Borik Puntamika. It will be extra interesting game as Borik Puntamika is their local rival from Zadar.
