Regular Season Round 12: Koshigaya A. - Fukushima 90-91

Very significant was Fukushima's (#4) just 1-point road victory against 5th ranked Koshigaya A. 91-90. Fukushima players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The winners were led by South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: NM State) who scored that evening 17 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Shaheed Davis (206-94, college: UCF) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Even 29 points, 6 rebounds and 5 blocks by American Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) did not help to save the game for Koshigaya A.. His fellow American import center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: App State) added 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Fukushima and five Koshigaya A. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Fukushima (9-4) moved-up to third place. Koshigaya A. at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
