The game in Minsk supposed to be also quite interesting. Leader Borisfen (7-0) played at the court of 5th ranked Impuls BGUIR Minsk (3-2). Borisfen smashed Impuls BGUIR Minsk 84-51 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Impuls BGUIR Minsk. The game without a history. Borisfen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Impuls BGUIR Minsk's 26. Borisfen forced 29 Impuls BGUIR Minsk turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Borisfen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Brooks DeBisschop (206-98, college: NAU) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Dupree McBrayer (195-96, college: Minnesota) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Five Borisfen players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Yaroslav Kurapov (200-91) who recorded 12 points and the former international center Anton Vashkevich (202-94) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Borisfen have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-0 record behind leader Grodno. Loser Impuls BGUIR Minsk keeps the fifth position with two games lost. Borisfen will meet at home league's leader Grodno in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Impuls BGUIR Minsk will play against Rubon (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
