The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Real Madrid 2 as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group B-B. Real Madrid 2 defeated second-ranked La Matanza at home 94-81. It was a key game for the top position in Group B-B. Real Madrid 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to La Matanza's 32. La Matanza will play next round against Alcala trying to get back on the winning streak. Real Madrid 2 will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Guadalajara at home.
