There was an upset when bottom-ranked Culleredo (0-1) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Agustinos (1-2) 68-61 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was forward Miguel Dominguez (197-95) who scored 15 points. David Arija (192-2) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Agustinos players scored in double figures. Agustinos' coach Beatriz Pacheco allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Christian Anon (199-89) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and Pau Gonzalez (192-2) added 17 points respectively for the hosts. Agustinos left bottom position moving up to seventh place in Group A-C. Loser Culleredo still closes the standings with one game lost. Agustinos will face Gijon Basket (#9) at home in the next round. Culleredo will play against the league's leader Chantada and will have a slim chance for a victory.
