The most surprising game was the first loss of JDA Dijon (5-1) on the court of tenth ranked Monaco on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Monaco 70-62. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of JDA Dijon. American guard Marcos Knight (188-89, college: MTSU, agency: BeoBasket) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import point guard Rob Gray (185-94, college: Houston) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Monaco players scored in double figures. Monaco's coach Zvezdan Mitrovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American swingman Jaron Johnson (196-92, college: Louisiana Tech) responded with 19 points and international guard Axel Julien (182-92) scored 9 points and 5 assists. Monaco have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion (3-1) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Nanterre. JDA Dijon at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Levallois. Monaco is looking forward to face Entente Orleans 45 (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. JDA Dijon will play against Le Mans (#11) and is hoping to win this game.
