Everything went according to plan when leader Lliria (4-0) outleveled on the road bottom-ranked L'Alcora (0-5) 102-71 on Saturday. Lliria shot 61.8 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 62.5 percentage. Lliria looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Marco Alejo (194-0) who scored 15 points and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). Point guard Victor Perez (180-90) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. Lliria's coach Alejandro Mesa felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Alfonso Ribera (202-1) produced 12 points and 8 rebounds and center David Tirado (208-80) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five L'Alcora players scored in double figures. Lliria have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place in Group E-A with 4-0 record having just 2 victories less than leader Mataro. Newly promoted L'Alcora still closes the standings with five games lost. Lliria will face Castello 2 (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. L'Alcora will play against Aldaia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
