Very expected game when bottom-ranked Zaragoza (0-1) was defeated on the road by leader Badalones (2-0) 70-61 on Saturday. Badalones looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Zaragoza was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was center David Carbonell (201-94) who scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Aleix Haro-Val (188-1) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Albert Fontet (213-86) produced 16 points and Carlos Blasco (192-95) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Badalones maintains first place in Group C5 with 2-0 record. Newly promoted Zaragoza still closes the standings with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
