Regular Season Round 15: Shiga L-Stars - Kyoto H. 82-79

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Kyoto H. (3-12) was edged on the road by seventh ranked Shiga L-Stars (6-9) 82-79 on Sunday. Shiga L-Stars looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Masaya Karimata (178-88) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Rayvonte Rice (193-92, college: Illinois) answered with 27 points and 5 assists and the other American import center David Simon (208-82, college: PFW) added 21 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kyoto H.Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Shiga L-Stars moved-up to sixth place. Kyoto H. at the other side keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Shiga L-Stars will face Dragonflies (#8) in Hiroshima in the next round. Kyoto H. will play at home against Diamond Dolphins and hope to win that game.
