Regular Season Round 6: Jairis - Pardinyes-L. 66-70

Pardinyes-L.'s fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Jairis, where they defeated Jairis (0-5) 70-66 on Sunday. Trinidad and Tobago guard Zeke Moore (201-97, college: SIUE) notched 21 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard David Orrit (185-0) supported him with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Even 17 points and 9 rebounds by forward Jon Aramburu (204-92) did not help to save the game for Jairis. Point guard Juan Ballesta (185-92) added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Jairis' coach Pepe Llorente let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Pardinyes-L. (1-4) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place in Silver. Newly promoted Jairis still closes the standings with five games lost. Pardinyes-L. will meet at home higher ranked Villarrobledo (#11) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jairis will play against Albacete where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
