Regular Season Round 15: Alvark T. - San-en NP 88-65

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Toyota Alvark (10-5) crushed 10th ranked San-en NeoPhoenix (2-13) in Tokyo 88-65 on Sunday. Toyota Alvark shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. It was a good game for American center Alex Kirk (211-91, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Kevin Jones (206-89, college: WVU) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Coach Luka Pavicevic's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Serbian power forward Stevan Jelovac (208-89, agency: BeoBasket) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and Filipino guard Ferdinand Ravena (189-96) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for San-en NeoPhoenix. Toyota Alvark moved-up to second place, which they share with Kawasaki BT and Sea Horses M. San-en NeoPhoenix lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 13 games lost. Toyota Alvark will face Toyama G. (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. San-en NeoPhoenix will play against Shimane Magic (#5) and hope to win that game.
