Regular Season Round 6: Adareva - Rosalia 82-72

Adareva can celebrate finally their first win this season after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Rosalia (0-4) 82-72 on Sunday. Adareva dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Rosalia's 34 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Adareva forced 22 Rosalia turnovers. The best player for the winners was Mali center Gnere Dembele (186-0) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Chilean point guard Sendy Basaez (170-96) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Sara Corredoira (-0) who recorded 20 points and 7 rebounds and Brazilian center Leticia Soares (185, college: San Diego) added 13 points respectively. Four Rosalia players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Adareva (1-4) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place in Group A. It was Rosalia's fourth loss in a row. Rosalia at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with four games lost. Adareva will face higher ranked Arxil Pontevedra (#10) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rosalia will play against Rioja (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
