Very predictable result in Las Palmas where top-ranked Ferrol (6-0) outscored 11th ranked Genero (1-5) 91-35 on Sunday. Ferrol dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Genero's 24. Ferrol forced 29 Genero turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Ferrol looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Genero's players. The best player for the winners was American center Jenna Allen (190-97, college: Michigan St., agency: LBM Management) who scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Patricia Cabrera (174-91) chipped in 15 points. Five Ferrol players scored in double figures.
