Regular Season Round 10: Krosno - Pelplin 99-83

There was an upset in Krosno where higher ranked Pelplin (4-6) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Miasto Szkla (3-2) 99-83 on Sunday. Miasto Szkla dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Pelplin's 36. Miasto Szkla forced 23 Pelplin turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Forward Alan Czujkowski (199-90, agency: Promotex) scored 23 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Maciej Zmudzki (206-97) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Miasto Szkla players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Pawel Dzierzak (188-95) responded with 24 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and naturalized Canadian forward Nick Madray (206-94, college: Wagner, agency: Promotex) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Miasto Szkla moved-up to ninth place. Newly promoted Pelplin keeps the eighth position with six games lost. Miasto Szkla will face bottom-ranked Klodzko (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
