The game in was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Centauros (5-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Llaneros (3-4). Centauros managed to secure a 6-point victory 103-97 on Sunday. Centauros looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Michael Flores (192-85) who scored 36 points (!!!) and 4 assists. The former international forward Luis Bethelmy (200-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Jose Sojo (194-96) produced 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Tulio Cobos (197-86, college: Northeastern St.) added 21 points and 5 steals respectively for the hosts. Four Centauros and five Llaneros players scored in double figures. Llaneros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Centauros maintains fourth position with 5-2 record. Loser Llaneros dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. They share the position with Broncos. Centauros will meet at home league's second-placed Guaiqueries in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Llaneros will play against Broncos (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
