Undefeated leader Armani Milano delivered the eighth consecutive victory. This time they beat 9th ranked Cantu (2-3) 89-71. Armani Milano players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Spanish guard Sergio Rodriguez (191-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 6 assists. American center Zach LeDay (202-94, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Wasserman) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. American point guard Jaime Smith (190-89, college: UAH, agency: Wasserman) replied with 18 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Maarten Leunen (206-85, college: Oregon) added 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Cantu. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Armani Milano (8-0) have an impressive eight-game winning streak.
