Regular Season Round 2: Cerrado - Franca 79-86

Very expected game in Brasilia where Cerrado was defeated by Vivo/Franca 86-79 on Monday. They made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. International forward Lucas Silva (208-95) scored 29 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Andre Bresolin (195-87) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American JC Fuller (194-94, college: W.Illinois, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and guard Paulo Da-Costa (193-94) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cerrado's coach Bruno Lopes rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Vivo/Franca will have a break next round. Cerrado will play at home against Caxias do Sul and hope to win that game.
