Regular Season Round 13: MKS DG - Trefl 72-81

No shocking result in a game in Dabrowa Gornicza where sixth ranked Trefl (9-6) defeated 15th ranked MKS DG (2-9) 81-72 on Monday. Trefl looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. MKS DG was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international center Dominik Olejniczak (213-96, college: FSU) fired 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American guard TJ Haws (193-95, college: BYU, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 18 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). Four Trefl players scored in double figures. American guard Lee Moore (193-95, college: UTEP, agency: Mansfield and Associates) produced 25 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and Lithuanian Vytenis Cizauskas (187-92) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. MKS DG's coach Alessandro Magro tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Trefl moved-up to fourth place. Loser MKS DG keeps the fifteenth position with nine games lost. Trefl will have a break next round. MKS DG will play at home against Slask (#5) and hope to win that game.
