Regular Season Round 8: Aulnoye - CFBB 85-64

Very expected game when bottom-ranked CFBB (0-7) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Aulnoye (3-2) 85-64 on Tuesday. Aulnoye forced 21 CFBB turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Sabrine Bouzenna (169-93, agency: Areus Sports) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 assists and swingman Elise Prodhomme (180-89) who added 19 points and 5 steals during the contest. Point guard Ines Debroise (168-3) responded with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Fatoumata Toure (171-4) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Aulnoye went down to sixth position due to points difference. Loser CFBB still closes the standings with seven games lost. Aulnoye will face league's second-placed Chartres at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. CFBB will play against La Tronche (#11) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
