Very expected game in Thessaloniki where bottom-ranked Lavrio (0-3) was defeated by seventh ranked PAOK (1-3) 83-65 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-65. PAOK made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Lavrio was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. PAOK will face league's leader AEK in Athens in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lavrio will play on the road against the league's second-placed Peristeri GS (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
