Regular Season Round 8: SKP 08 BB - Samorin 62-65

The most exciting game of round 8 in the Extraliga took place in Banska Bystrica. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 5th ranked SKP 08 BB (2-4) to fourth ranked Samorin (5-3) 65-62 in the game for the fourth place. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Timea Sujova (172-84) who scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Simona Marcova (182-94) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Five Samorin players scored in double figures. Guard Lucia Striesova (183-97, college: RMU) produced 17 points and 4 blocks and Nina Janstova (-4) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Samorin maintains fourth position with 5-3 record. SKP 08 BB at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with BAM Poprad.
