This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Orange Vikings (5-10) to eighth ranked Kagawa FA (4-11) 81-79 on Thursday evening. American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points and 4 assists. Australian forward Rhys Vague (206-96) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Kagawa FA's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American center Ryan Stephan (208-94, college: CMU) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Perry Ellis (203-93, college: Kansas) added 25 points in the effort for Orange Vikings. Four Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. Kagawa FA maintains eighth position with 4-11 record. Orange Vikings at the other side keep the seventh place with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
