Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Alma-Ata: Almat.Legion-2 (#2) and MBJSM (#8). Almat.Legion-2 (6-1) smashed visiting MBJSM (0-7) by 18 points 86-68. Almat.Legion-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Nikita Timofeev (199-98) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Daniil Severgin (178-5) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Almat.Legion-2 players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Vyacheslav Raguyev (195-93) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Mukhammadali Mirza (185-97) added 15 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Almat.Legion-2 have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-1 record behind leader Bars. Loser MBJSM still closes the standings with seven games lost. They share the position with Aktobe 2. Almat.Legion-2 will meet Barsy 2 (#6) in the next round. MBJSM will play against Karaganda and hopes to get finally their first victory.
