Regular Season Round 6: Melilla - Breogan 74-67

First defeat of league's leader Leche Rio Breogan (2-1) against eighth ranked Melilla (2-4) 74-67 was the most important game of the last round. It was a good game for American point guard Alec Wintering (183-95, college: Portland) who led his team to a victory with 31 points. DR Congolese-Canadian guard Mathieu Kamba (196-95, college: Cent Arkansas, agency: Dynamics Global Management) contributed with 12 points for the winners. American-Italian guard Adam Sollazzo (198-90, college: ETSU) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Danish center Kevin Larsen (207-93, college: GWU) added 15 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) in the effort for Leche Rio Breogan. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Melilla moved-up to sixth place in Gold. Leche Rio Breogan at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Alicante. Leche Rio Breogan will play next round against Ourense trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Melilla will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
