Regular Season Round 11: Diablos - Bucaneros 75-87

Rather predictable result in Caracas where sixth ranked Bucaneros (6-4) defeated 10th ranked Diablos (3-8) 87-75. Bucaneros players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for international forward Elder Gimenez (186-91) who led the winners and scored 21 points. Point guard Emiro Hernandez (188-94) accounted for 15 points and 6 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Point guard Argenis Indriago (178-0) came up with 16 points and point guard Leinfer Montes (192-94) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Diablos in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bucaneros moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Supersonicos. Diablos at the other side keep the tenth position with eight games lost. Bucaneros will play against Llaneros (#9) in the next round. Diablos will have a break next round.
