Important game to mention about took place in Milano. Third ranked Udine (5-1) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked Milano (3-4) 82-79 on Saturday evening. Udine made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Udine outrebounded Milano 40-23 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Antonia Peresson (175-95, college: Georgia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Slovenian Tina Cvijanovic (180-98) who added 25 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Udine's coach Alberto Matassini allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Swingman Susanna Toffali (178-98) responded with 26 points and 4 assists and Arianna Beretta (180-96) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Udine moved-up to second place in A2. Milano at the other side dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Udine will play against Mantova (#4) at home in the next round. Milano will play against the league's leader Crema (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
