The game was mostly controlled by ViVe. Torpan Pojat was better in second period 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Torpan Pojat 46-35 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Doniyah Cliney (182-96, college: S.Carolina) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Her fellow American import forward Kayla Gordon (183-95, college: Jacksonville) accounted for 16 points and 23 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Tessa Virtanen (165-97) came up with 10 points, 6 assists and 6 steals and forward Ida Myllyoja (180-96) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Torpan Pojat in the defeat. Torpan Pojat's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. ViVe maintains eighth place with 2-5 record. Torpan Pojat at the other side keeps the sixth position with four games lost. ViVe's next round opponent will be higher ranked Tapiolan Honka (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
