There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Castello 2 (1-4) won against on the road second-best Lliria (4-1) 63-57 on Saturday. Castello 2 forced 23 Lliria turnovers. Point guard Andres Roig (188-99) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Victor Rodriguez (201-0) chipped in 8 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Jon Galarza (193-97) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and center Godwin Osarenren (195-94) scored 4 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Castello 2 left bottom position moving up to eighth place in Group E-A, which they share with Torrent. Loser Lliria dropped to the third position with one game lost. Castello 2 will face higher ranked Aldaia (#7) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Lliria will play against Puerto Sagunto (#4) in Gilet and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
