We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked Arxil Pontevedra (1-4) lost at home to eleventh ranked Adareva (2-4) 67-57 on Saturday. Adareva forced 22 Arxil Pontevedra turnovers. Quite impressive performance for forward Alba Pena (177-95) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 6 rebounds. Mali center Gnere Dembele (186-0) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Maria Lago (177-92) answered with 12 points and Margarita Moreira added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Arxil Pontevedra. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Adareva moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Casablanca and Cortegada. Arxil Pontevedra lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. Adareva will face Cortegada (#10) in Vilagarcia Arousa in the next round. Arxil Pontevedra will play on the road against Rioja in Azkoitia and hope to win that game.
