Regular Season Round 8: CFBB - Reims 63-73

Bottom-ranked CFBB (0-7) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to fourth ranked Reims (4-1) 73-63 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of DR Congolese power forward Ginette Mfutila (189-88, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and forward Margaux Okou-Zouzouo (183-91) who added 18 points during the contest. Center Rosanne Le-Seyec (195-4) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard Fatoumata Toure (171-4) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Reims moved-up to second place, which they share with Chartres. Loser CFBB still closes the standings with seven games lost. Reims will face league's leader Angers at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CFBB will play against La Tronche (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
