No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Sant Adria (4-1) beat on the road 8th ranked Sant Josep (2-3) 71-65 on Sunday. Sant Adria forced 31 Sant Josep turnovers. Quite impressive performance for point guard Laia Lamana (170-2) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 steals. American forward Sarah Saba (179-96, college: Daemen) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Brigida Gual (-97) answered with 21 points and French forward Sophia Elenga (185-95, college: ASU) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sant Josep. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Sant Adria moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Sant Josep keeps the eighth position with three games lost. Sant Adria will face Mataro (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sant Josep will play against Andratx and hope to win that game.
