The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Tsmoki-Minsk as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Tsmoki-Minsk smashed bottom-ranked Gomel at home 101-40. Tsmoki-Minsk (7-0) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Gomel at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Gomel will play next round against strong BDU Tsmoki trying to get back on the winning streak. Tsmoki-Minsk will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Victoria in Grodno.
