Very predictable result when third ranked Brescia (6-2) won against on the road 11th ranked Livorno (2-5) 53-44 on Sunday. Benedetta Bonomi (181-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points. Guard Ramona Tomasoni (170-4) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Brescia's coach Stefano Zanardi used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Sara Giangrasso (178-0) replied with 11 points and 5 rebounds and forward Francesca Evangelista (180-93) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Livorno. Newly promoted Brescia maintains third position in A2 with 6-2 record having just one point less than leader Faenza. Loser Livorno keeps the eleventh place with five games lost.
