No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Llaneros (5-7) beat at home 11th ranked Diablos (3-9) 77-68. Llaneros dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Diablos' 24. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The former international forward Tulio Cobos (197-86, college: Northeastern St.) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international swingman Cesar Silva (190-81) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. Guard Juan Mejias (184-96) produced 23 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Argenis Indriago (178-0) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Llaneros moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Broncos. Diablos at the other side dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost.
