Important game to mention about took place in Brest. Ninth ranked Grodno GrSU (3-5) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked Brest (3-6) 84-82 in the fight for the seventh place. Brest was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 16-12 charge of Grodno GrSU, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 20 Brest turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Tsimur Drukau (198-99) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 11 rebounds. Center Pavel Bliznec (211-94) helped adding 15 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Konstantin Solyshko (196-96) responded with 27 points and 8 rebounds and guard Anton Shchurko (188-97) scored 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Grodno GrSU moved-up to seventh place. Brest at the other side dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Grodno GrSU will play against higher ranked Tsmoki II (#6) in Minsk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Brest will play on the road against Rubon in Vitebsk and hopes to get back on the winning track.
