Very expected game when 11th ranked SMS PZKosz (2-4) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Chelmno (5-3) 92-83 on Thursday. Chelmno outrebounded SMS PZKosz 50-34 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Forward Daniel Belski (191-86) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 25 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Krystian Rosinski (190-98) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Igor Krzych (183-3) responded with 19 points and 6 assists and guard Nataniel Kolasinski (187-2) scored 15 points and 6 assists. Five SMS PZKosz players scored in double figures. SMS PZKosz's coach Mariusz Niedbalski rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Chelmno maintains fourth position with 5-3 record. Loser SMS PZKosz dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. Chelmno will face higher ranked Ogniwo Szcz. (#3) in Szczecin in the next round and it may be the game of the week. SMS PZKosz will play at home against Arka 2 (#5) and hope to win that game.
