Bottom-ranked Socinsa Bembibre managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of eight consecutive losses. This time they won against fourteenth-ranked Zamarat in Zamora 78-68. American guard Lashann Higgs (175-95, college: Texas) stepped up and scored 32 points (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) for the winners and Venezuelan point guard Roselis Silva (166-91, college: Arkansas Tech) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds.
