The game in Tokyo supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Sendai 89ers (12-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Tokyo Z (2-14). Sendai 89ers smashed Tokyo Z 107-65 on Saturday. Sendai 89ers dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Z's 32 and made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Tokyo Z 39-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. Sendai 89ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Tokyo Z was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Sendai 89ers have a solid four-game winning streak. They used an opportunity after Saga B. lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Tokyo Z lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 14 games lost. Sendai 89ers will have a break next round. Tokyo Z will play again at home against the league's second-placed Sendai 89ers (#2) and hope to win that game.
