Leader Gunma delivered the fourteenth victory. This time they beat 6th ranked Yamagata (6-10) 72-58. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Yamagata. Gunma players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Yamagata's players. The game was dominated by American players. The winners were led by guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-90, college: Miami, FL) who scored that evening 23 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and center Brian Qvale (208-88, college: Montana) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Gunma's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds by forward Andrew Randall (198-90, college: Temple) did not help to save the game for Yamagata. Forward Keith Clanton (205-90, college: UCF) added 12 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Gunma (14-2) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position.
